Ironman Lake Placid 2007 got underway at 7am this morning. 5 of my friends from the Bay of Quinte area are racing in Lake Placid today.
Here’s how they fared coming out of the 3.8km swim:
Jeff Musson- 1:13
Angela Lilly- 54 mins
Jeff Walsh- 1:05
Nancy Coakley- 1:26
Dennis Hills- 1:19
As the rest of day unfolded, great performances were to be had by all. Everybody easily rolled in before the 12am cut-off, with the following finishing times:
Angela- 10:24!!! Not to mention a Kona spot too!

It was my first race back in Ontario, but I still found myself surrounded by a few familiar Alberta faces……CRAZINESS!!!! It sure helped to soften the blow of my lack lustre bike performance. Next up: Redemption in K-Town in 3 weeks. I’ll keep you posted!
Believe it or not, Andy’s jersy has “Dopers Suck” printed on both the front&back. The best part however, is the fact that he’s riding around France wearing it during tour time. Classic!

Kayaking in the 1000 Islands
Today, I kayaked throughout the 1000 Islands with both my mom&sister. This was our group photo that was taken, after we returned from our day of paddling.
